Tubing-encased conductor (TEC) line is not simple. You're running electrical cable inside a capillary tube inside a well — to heat, to monitor, to control. The design has to account for depth, temperature gradient, power supply, voltage drop over distance, chemical environment, and approximately a dozen other variables that all interact with each other.

You provide well parameters (depth, bottomhole temperature, wellbore schematic, power availability, what you're trying to accomplish — paraffin mitigation? hydrate prevention? distributed temperature sensing?). Within two weeks, you receive:

• A heat-trace or power-delivery calculation (depending on application)
• Identification of any design concerns with recommended alternatives
• A compatibility assessment — your TEC line selection vs. your wellbore chemistry
• An installation procedure outline with key go/no-go checkpoints
